What’s it about?
Essay Writing is a colourful and course that is engaging which was produced exclusively for home-educators. It will probably show you everything you need to know to be able to write cracking essays, on any topic. That is this course for?
An essay is a lengthier bit of writing and is the conventional written form for all subjects that are academic. Plus its hard to make it through any programme of academic study without getting asked to write an essay at some time. For you; it should help you to write an essay on virtually any subject from GCSE level right up to your first year in Further or Higher Education if you have always wanted to know how to write a good essay, this course is.
It is worth pointing out, however, before you do the IGCSE English Language or Literature courses that you do not need to do the Essay writing course. Those courses include practice and instruction in the writing styles and formats for people subjects (which are not always essays, funnily enough). Nevertheless the Essay Writing course will strengthen your skills in analysis, planning and writing of essays and this will have a knock-on impact on the manner in which you think and write various other aspects of life. Most students who use the course say they feel way more confident about writing generally speaking.
As with every my courses for older students it is possible to elect to use the course help writing a college essay as downloadable pdf files or via a printed book. You can find 7 chapters covering every aspect of essay writing and 7 tutor marked assignments to help you practise your skills. As with all my courses there was unlimited (within reason!) email and phone support.
How long does this course take?
It varies. Most students take around 8 months but you can do it more quickly and take longer if you wish (there’s no time period limit on any of my courses).
What pace must I go at?
It’s important to go at your own pace – you really need ton’t feel you may be rushing the course, but nor should it is gathering dust in the shelf. You ought to be feeling comfortably challenged but enjoying yourself (for the part that is most!).
What if I have stuck?
Make a quick call or email me – I am here to greatly help! when you yourself have a block about a particular assignment most commonly it is far better to move ahead using the course and come back to it later.
Could I type my assignments?
Unless you are expected to get dispensation to key in an eventual exam (so you have dyslexia or some other special requirement), I prefer assignments to be handwritten. We could all type more quickly you will eventually produce in the exam than we can write so typing assignments gives an unrealistic expectation of what. I know the Essay Writing is not an exam course, but handwriting is a motor skill so it’s important to practise at each opportunity you get! You can find exceptions, though, so get in touch beside me if you are unsure.
How about special requirements that are educational?
A good thing to accomplish is pick up the phone and speak to me and let me know the thing you need. Over time We have helped students with a variety of special requirements resulting from dyslexia, Aspergers along with other physical or conditions that are mental get in the way of these capability to do justice to themselves in English.
